I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!

I won the lottery! Okay, I didn't really win the lottery but, to me, it might as well have been the lottery!! Brittany from Adeline's Shabby Cottage gave me the Arte Y Pico award!! I was so excited I was jumping around and doing my happy dance!! What an honor!! This is my first award and I was totally not expecting it at all!
Brittany is such a sweetheart! She has a wonderful blog and if you haven't been there you should get over there as soon as possible! Oh! And while you are there you will have to check out all of the precious things she offers up for Flea Market Fridays!! Brittany- thank you so much! You have no idea how good this makes me feel. You made my week! Probably my month!!

Here are the rules:
1. You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserving of this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also contribute to the blogging community, no matter what language.
2. Each award has to have the name of the author and a link to his/her blog to be visited by everyone.
3. Each award winner has to show the award and put the name of and link to the blog that presented her/him with the award.
4. The award winner and one who has given the prize have to show the link of "Arte y Pico" blog so everyone will know the origin of this award.

Now this is the hard part. Choosing the five that inspire me. How can I choose only five? I have met so many wonderful people through blogging and there are so many that inspire me. But I will do my best!

3. Brenda from The Brenda Blog
4. Kimba from A Soft Place To Land
5. Jo from To A Pretty Life
Congratulations Ladies!! And Brittany- Big Hugs!!
-Heather :)

I've never really had a problem with drawers sticking as long as I let the piece dry for a few days before I put the drawers back in. I usually use Rustoleum or Valspar paint in a satin finish.

Also, when I paint drawers, I usually only paint the fronts, not the entire inside. That probably helps with the "stickiness factor". I don't even tape off or cover the inside. There's usually some overspray down the sides of the drawer but not too much. I'm just way to impatient to tape it all off unless I absolutely have to.

And that fabric? Straight from the sale aisle at Joanne - is that a national chain? It's actually exterior fabric. I really thought it had a vintage look too.
